The Glade is committed to supporting both residents and their families with compassion and respect during this stage of life.
Dementia
Nearly 850,000 people in the UK are currently living with a dementia diagnosis. While some can continue living independently with support from relatives, friends, or carers, others may require the specialised care provided by a care home. At The Glade, we strive to ensure that residents living with dementia receive care that closely resembles the support they would experience at home. Our staff are extensively trained to support individuals with dementia, learning about the various types of dementia and their effects. They use person-centred approaches and a range of interventions to reduce distress and promote well-being, ensuring residents feel valued, understood, and cared for in a compassionate and supportive environment.
